Virginia Is For Hansons

A couple of weeks a go I was back in Texas for our annual Kollweiler Reunion and to celebrate Mary's 60th (!!) birthday! There is nothing like the four of us together for a weekend...in the Texas wine country no less!  The same weekend that I was in Fredericksburg Henry was with his friends in Baton Rouge for the Alabama win! Roll Tide!!

Last weekend was Viv's last race of the fall Resilient Rowing season. She was in a four and an eight and in both placed 8 out of 23 boats. That's how you do it, ladies!!  2 seat in both the 4 and 8 These girls have three weeks off, then two months of  winter conditioning and then they'll be back on the water for Woodson! 

Not sure how we got to the first week of November, but here we are!  October ended with a combination of the good, the bad and the ugly, but luckily the good outweighed everything else and I didn't get any pictures of the bad and the ugly :)  First up...the BEAUTIFUL! HOCO 2024 I spy San Antone... And a little boost to the soul in Dallas...
